Blue Lace with Cuddy Studios

K: Can you believe that August is upon us? While most of the world may be expecting fall to roll in sometime soon, you can count on San Antonio to keep the 100 degree days coming, much to our dismay. There's no hope in bringing out the cardigans and boots until October hits; so in the meantime, you can find me getting a little more wear out of my timeless summer pieces, like this blue lace dress from Cuddy Studios

K: I love the simple silhouette of this dress and the feminine pattern of flowers all around. The beauty of it is that it can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. I chose to dress it up for these photos and can see it being perfect for church, a bridal shower, or a special occasion out. Tone it down with flats, a cute denim jacket, and simple jewelry for a more laid back, casual kind of look. I'm always looking for pieces in my closet that can serve more than one purpose and even documented another dress that doubles in functionality right here

K: I kept wondering if the designers were inspired by blue hydrangeas. The print matches the gorgeous flowers perfectly! I'm always a fan of nature inspired clothing, even in small, subtle ways like a lace print.

In other news, Brandon and I are putting together a "Frequently Asked Questions" post and would love to have your input! What do you want to know about us? Leave a comment below with your question, or contact us here. Happy Monday to everyone!
